Project Child Safe |

 Project Child Safe is a national program developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), which promotes safe storage and handling of firearms by distributing free cable gun locks. Project Child Safe is an expansion of the NSSF's Project Home Safe. The Washington County Sheriff's Office is proud to help Project Child Safe by distributing cable gunlocks throughout our community. If you would like to receive a gunlock, feel free to contact the Community Relations Officer at 461-1414. We will also be distributing gunlocks during local events and businesses. As these are planned, information will be provided here and in the current events calendar. Project Childcare is located on the internet at www.ProjectChildSafe.org.
